In 2025, Casa Jaracatiá received the Platinum category — the highest distinction — in the international Golden Trezzini Awards, whose theme is Architecture as Art.

Jaracatiá house was designed to celebrate living on a single level. Set on the ground floor, it opens to the morning sun and to the preserved forest that surrounds the site, offering a sense of refuge and serenity to everyday life.

The layout clearly separates social and private areas, ensuring both privacy and fluid circulation throughout the house. In front of the bedrooms, reflecting pools mirror the sky and the landscape, creating a contemplative atmosphere that transforms daily moments into unique experiences.

The balsa roof, with a curved ceiling inside and a flat profile outside, brings lightness to the structure while responding to the climate. On the walls, patinated copper acquires new tones over time, while bespoke mashrabiya panels filter the light and preserve intimacy in the bedrooms, living room, and garage.

An infinity-edge pool, sauna, and gourmet area complete the ensemble, integrating leisure and well-being into the landscape. A continuous flooring throughout the house connects every space, dissolving boundaries between indoors and outdoors.
