Guatambus village is a collection of small chalets ranging from 20m² to 35m², scattered across a large plot with a view of the mountains.
The primary purpose of this development is to serve as a weekend retreat for tourists traveling through the paradisiacal waterfalls of the city of Gonçalves.
The chalets were strategically positioned to provide optimal sunlight exposure and integration with nature, while also taking advantage of the views and respecting the topography. Moreover, the layout ensures ample distance between units, allowing for greater privacy for each guest.
Given the region’s significant temperature variations, several solutions were adopted to ensure comfort, such as retractable glass panels and skylights. Additionally, materials like wood were used in the interior spaces to provide a cozier atmosphere.
